Recap: Women and the Law 2016

2016 was another record attendance year for our Women and the Law Seminar, which was held on November 11th.

Our panel included a Justice of the Supreme Court of NJ and three Superior Court of NJ Judges, as well as an extremely talented group of attorneys.  The topic areas discussed included the changes in the ABA Model Rule8.4(g), combatting micro-aggressions, conscious, unconscious and implicit bias, and a generational panel discussing the differences between Baby Boomers, Generation X’ers and Millennials and how those differences impact the profession.  It was a lively discussion which included Judicial perspectives, which were invaluable to the attendees.

There were many positive comments on the surveys.  Here’s just a few:

I enjoyed the energy level and charisma of the speakers.
I was really impressed by the program. Everything was strong, but hearing from the Judges was most enjoyable.
I really enjoyed the insight into perspectives that the panelists bring to the profession, and what we can learn from each other.
Excellent program. Extremely well done.
